2 weeks agoLet me start by saying this pub crawl is a great way to meet new people in Malta, and thanks to the group, I still managed to have a good time. However, the negative reviews are, unfortunately, accurate, so it’s important to know what you sign up for. The event starts at Black Bull, a restaurant where people are dining, with no music or games to set the mood—definitely an odd choice for the beginning of a pub crawl. The second stop was Tex Mex Bar & Grill, which did have music, making it slightly better. However, aside from 2-3 people eating, it was completely empty. The third stop was Sahara Lounge, a shisha bar. Personally, I’m not a fan of shisha lounges, and this one was exactly what you’d expect. The fourth stop was supposedly a “club,” but it was by far the worst venue I’ve ever seen (Club 77 Malta). It was just the 10 of us from the pub crawl, making the atmosphere feel strange and awkward. Even some locals outside warned us not to go in, calling the place terrible. In the last place I spoke to the organizer and asked if we could finally move to the final destination—supposedly a real club with people—since it was already past midnight, and I wanted to experience Paceville’s nightlife properly. He explained he had to stick to the agreements made with the bars and remain at each for a set amount of time, but promised we’d leave immediately afterward. The final club did have some people, which was a step up, but it wasn’t packed or as lively as some of the other popular spots in Malta. The VIP option isn’t worth it —it doesn’t help skip any lines (there weren’t any) and locks you into staying until the last club to claim your cocktails.

5 months agoI joined the pub crawl with 3 of my friends, we all booked the vip option along with the open bar. The guide was entertaining and was truly enjoying his time with us, we felt very welcomed. Absolutely advised.

9 months agoAmazing bar and club crawling experience! My friends and I booked this PubCrawl tour and had a great time exploring Malta's vibrant nightlife. Our guide Carlos was fantastic and took us to the best places we would never have found on our own. Each venue had its own unique atmosphere, great drinks and music that kept us dancing all night. “I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the best of Malta city nightlife!”

5 months agoWorst pubcrawl to attend in Malta, to give you a better understanding of why they are rated so high, most 5 star reviews are from their own guides which says enough. Safe yourself the hassle and just go clubbing at your own leisure! Update: Since the owners apparently doesn't want it known that you should not take your business here, i'll provide some extra context. Several females from our group were harassed during the pubcrawl, which was the first time on the island. Maybe in the future take us down to the 'tourist hotspots' and not let your customers get harassed. Unless this is what you think what genuine maltase bar culture is, than maybe re-evaluate your perspective on life and join us in the 21st century.
